Albin Sundström - Bass, Elliot Bergmark - Guitar, Ture Trygger - Woodwinds, Melvin Andreassen - Keyboards & Piano, Arvid Bexelius - Drums
USA-based bassist and composer Albin Sundström was described by the label ZkwnZ as a "prodigy" when he began touring Sweden and Europe as a teenager with artists such as Kwesi Yvorra (UK), Homeboy Sandman (USA), Byron The Aquarius (USA), and Nova Luther (SWE). By age 16, Albin had already recorded a live album with the artist Björn Lycklig. Immediately after graduating from Södra Latins Gymnasium, Albin received a full scholarship to study jazz at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. There, he has divided his time between accompanying artists like guitar legend Earl Slick (David Bowie, John Lennon, etc.) and young talents like violinist Maya Leibowitz, as well as touring Japan with saxophonist Taiyo Fuwa. During his first year at Berklee, Albin was accepted into Berklee’s prestigious Global Jazz Institute, with the legendary pianist Danilo Perez as artistic director. Using jazz improvisation as a medium, Albin’s music aims to put the audience in touch with their own feelings and thoughts. Albin describes his music as "an exercise in responsiveness, honesty, and radical self-acceptance."
