Aspen Live! Dahlin & Wilson Project (SE/UK)

ASPEN LIVE – that is the title of Aspen's acclaimed live music series. Musical magic, an incredible atmosphere, and the best food in the universe! ASPEN LIVE – Dahlin & Wilson Project (SE/UK) Plays Wayne Shorter. The Dahlin & Wilson Project emerged when Swedish jazz bassist Adam Dahlin and London-based saxophonist Jack Wilson met and immediately discovered a strong musical chemistry. From this meeting, a modern jazz quartet grew where interplay, responsiveness, and creative exploration are at the center. The quartet's repertoire moves between Wayne Shorter's compositions and the members' own songs. The music shifts between lyrical melodies, open improvisations, and rhythmic intensity, in a dynamic interplay between the cultures of two nations. The result is a sound that both honors the legacy of 60s innovative jazz while looking toward the future. Joining them are some of Stockholm's most fantastic jazz musicians, Henrik Jäderberg on drums and Elias Larsson on piano. Adam Dahlin – double bass, Jack Wilson – saxophone, Henrik Jäderberg – drums, Elias Larsson – piano. Thursday, August 6th, 7:00 PM. Bio Aspen, The Salon. Tickets: 180 SEK regular, 130 SEK reduced (students, pensioners). Aspen's bistro opens at 4:00 PM.
